One of the few kitchen gadgets that I purchase that was a little disappointing. I tried chopping up lettuce leafs, but the knife "dragged" the leafs back and forth rather than cutting them. I'm sure it would work fine if I used "chunks" rather than loose "leafs:.

This an extremely useful "gadget"and very simple. I was impressed with the description of the item, and decided to purcchase one on a trial basis. It was great, and I plan on buy additional ones for use by family members
