I originally purchased this product to use as a wifi router without an internet connection. I wanted to stream videos from a laptop to a smart TV while we were camping. The device worked as advertised, however, my TV required an active internet connection in order to use wifi. I am now using it as a wifi extender and it is working well. I think its best use would be in a hotel connected to an ethernet connection and used as a wifi router. I have not tested that yet. Overall, it was easy to set up.

Très pratique en voyage. Il est fourni avec un petit sac de transport. Il serte de passerelle pour éviter d'exposer mon ordinateur dans des réseaux inconnus. Il est petit et facile à configurer.

Still haven't figured out how to use it or if it is even the right product for us???

Works well as a wireless router plugged into a Ethernet wall outlet. It is so small and portable to take it on trips. Although it can be set up to connect to a wifi network as well, it is rather challenging to do. In a recent trip, the hotel wifi required a code to be entered in the webpage to access it. Since I could not do it through the router, I ended up with my own wifi network which was not connected to the outside world.
