My home office chair had previously lead me to experience pain after only a couple hours of sitting. This backrest solved that problem. I have been completely lower-back pain free since using this backrest support. It can be placed either at the lumbar or a bit higher up and kept in firmly in place just by sitting. I find that either position works. While sitting in my home office chair, rather than being hunched over in a big letter-C, my spine is in correct alignment. I don’t write reviews, but I was so impressed by the outcome of this purchase, I felt compelled to share with others. For what I paid, this was an outstanding purchase for me. Highly recommended. At the very minimum, it’s worth taking a chance on if you find that when sitting you are hunching over rather than sitting straight with your spine in alignment like you are supposed to. (

An overall good backrest that's supportive but also flexible due to its split design. Each half of the backrest mounts independently to the backplate which allows for better flex. The plastic construction of the backrest is firm while still being comfortable. I wish the backrest had a vertical strap in addition to the horizontal one because it kept slipping down into the gap between my chair's back and seat whenever I got up. I was able to fashion a vertical strap using a bungee cord, but it would been better if it was designed with a vertical strap.

We have tried others but we didn't like them. This one molds nicely to our backs.

Love this back support. Finally , long drives are relaxing and no more back and side pain at the end of the trip. The adjustable air bag is a game changer. Worth every penny.

It is a little complicated to get all parts together. I wanted something simple. I realized that this lumbar support is almost 100 dollars. I decided to return it and find something simple. I bought for my wife very large one which covers almost entire back. I wish this particulare backrest support to be simple. Maybe it is very comfortable.
