We use this device in the office for our WFH staff members. They are supplied with a docking station for use at home, so that they can use dual monitors, etc but they don't want to haul the docking station to the office when they come in. This is where the dual HDMI adapter comes in. It allows our staff to use dual monitors with their laptops and some also use an extra USB hub to connect additional items to their laptops (eg ext keyboard/mouse, etc). Very cost effective when you compare this adapter to the cost of buying a docking station.

I have 2 Dell 4k monitors connected to this dongle: S2721QS & S2722QC. Both laptops I used are running Windows 11, fully updated. The dongle worked as hoped on my Dell XPS 13 9350. It took a few moments for all the displays to settle in, and I had to manually set the correct resolution for the 2nd external display. The displays didn't seem particularly fast, but that's probably more down to the i5-6200U and the GPU rather than the dongle or the monitors. I tried the dongle with a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL, but the system would freeze up whenever I plugged it in, sadly. I am running the laptop with the latest BIOS. I like that the HDMI ports on the dongle are secure but not overly tight (like my Thinkbook). I would have preferred a braided cord, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the product. I hope the next revision can fix the freezing problem for my Thinkbook and come with USB-C PD pass thru.
