This adapter has a stereo 3.5 mm female TRS jack and a stereo 2.5 mm male TRS plug. The connectors are gold plated to ensure a smooth, corrosion-free connection.

The durable 18 AWG copper-clad steel-center conductor is surrounded by a foam polyethylene dielectric with two active shield layers of mylar foil providing 99-100% coverage and two layers of aluminum braid shielding with 95% coverage.
