Food-Grade Bamboo Material

The knife holder material is made of bamboo. Inside is BPA free, food grade plastic rods bristles won't chip or dull your knives. They move around to fit knives when inserted or removed. This design keeps your knives sharp, and won't cause abrasions like traditional slotted wood knife blocks.

Easy to Clean

The long black plastic rods are removable - simply push out the block from the bottom. The bristles are easy to clean: they can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Please avoid heat drying as that will reduce the adhesive affixing the rods together. The bamboo shell should be hand washed; additional polish may be needed after multiple washings.
