In truth a lot of the Monitors that have HDMI connect put that particular plug very close to the stand making it next to impossible screw the connection even just partially tight. My suggestion is to put longer extension pole screws on the piece and to make the space between the HDMI and the DVI longer dropping the plugin about 1/2 to 1". This is the other amazingly difficult problem with it. In all other ways it worked out wonderfully. I knew it wouldn't be like having and HDNI plug but, the color was a bit richer and scroll items on page much clearer than just the VGA connection I was using before. Good product design needs work.
