Great device. These couplers are ideal for extending cables that are hard wired to devices. Also saves on having to purchase longer cables if the devices are moved further away from the modem. I try to avoid wireless if possible especially for financial transactions. Wireless is too open for nearby hackers to intercept the information being transmitted. A hacker told me once that he would NEVER use wireless devices for financial transactions. Good advice from someone who knows how vulnerable wireless devices are to being hacked or info intercepted. Cables may be a nuisance but they are a more secure connection to the internet.
