I'm using this to verify bed and enclosure temps for 3D printing, it's been great. I tried body temperature vs medical thermostats and it's not that accurate but they don't advertise as such.

Quality is fine. For such price, I would have no complaint.

Feels cheap but Do the job !

I bought this IR thermometer with the intension of finding out cold areas in the house. It worked well for that purpose as it was simple enough to press, hold, and point at the wall. I tested the thermometer's accuracy by pointing the laser at cups of water at different temperatures (heated up using my kettle's presets). Each measurement was very accurate. As the manual suggests, the thermometer shouldn't be used to take a person's temperature as it didn't seem all that accurate. As a bonus the cat liked chasing after the laser.
