This is the best bang for buck USB-C dock you can buy. I am running a 2017 MBP, connected to Ethernet, external monitor USB-C charger and a 9 port USB3 dock at work. Works flawlessly. All the whingeing about dongles ppl are doing...one freakin dongle. Thats all I use. less to plug in daily than ANY windows machine I have ever used. I have 2 of these, one in my backpack and one stays on my desk. I do have some usb-c to usb-A adaptors for occasions I only need a memory stick or a external disk drive...but I almost always just use this. USB-C is the present!

We've been using these for many years now and so far not even 1 has failed. This is a rock solid item at a great price!

Have this on a MacBook Air and the HDMI out is fine, but if you do not have power pass-through the adapter might power off - so good to have a power passthrough port available on it.
