these cables have been great for the most part. my wife's cord ended up having issues where it wouldn't make a solid connection to her phone and keep going back and forth between charging and not charging. know it wasn't the phone because plugged my cable in and worked just fine and i tried here on my phone and did the same thing. can't recall how old the cable was as i bought a few but they have been better then the non metal braided ones I've bought

My computer still not recognise my phone samsung S8 event sync data is supposed to be with this device

amazingly well constructed However, and this is mostly my fault for not reading, its usb 2.0 why oh why would you build a usb "C" cable that is only 2.0 other than being reversible, the "C" capabilities are completely useless unless its 3.0 as a result of not having the extra 3.0 pins it charges very slowly
