The Canon inks got horribly expensive so I switched to “Canon compatible” inks. They were a full third the price and I figured they were a great deal. They worked great AT FIRST… but after a month or so, prints faded dramatically. I tried again with another third party “Canon compatible” brand and they faded even faster. They’re painfully expensive, but the Canon inks don’t fade like the cheap brands. If an image is important, get the official Canon inks.
