Bluetooth 5 Transmitter & Receiver with aptX, aptX Low Latency, AAC, and SBC Codecs - Monoprice®
Whoa! It works really well. I just received it with a BT5.0 mini speaker (https://www.primecables.ca/p-362357-cab-bp-gs506-bt30-ipx5-waterproof-bluetooth-speaker-primecables#sku373546): Great little unit for the price. The purpose of the setup is to plug it on a TV and have the speaker on the night table. (The TV doesn't have to be on high volume anymore and everybody can sleep). I don't like having a headphone when in bed. :-) I connected the Optical digital output from the TV the BT transmitter. I put the transmitter on pairing mode and dang... it found the speaker and connected to it. The reason why I used the optical output is that I can put the TV on mute and just control the volume on the BT speaker. Enough about the setup, but it gives you an idea of my use of it. The BT transmitter is very small (2.5" x 2.5" x 5/8) and it can be easily attached to the back of the TV with a piece of velcro. The unit comes with all required cables (but no USB charger). There is a bit of lag time on the Bluetooth signal (They all have it). I took my small portable speaker and went downstairs and YES, the 15m range is there. Now, cherry on the cake and kudos to Primecables: The unit was not in stock and as soon as they received it, they sent it with Fedex (Usually they are using Canada Post which is a slower service).
Second review directed at motorcycle riders: I have 2 Sena Bluetooth communication system on the motorcycle helmets and an older Garmin GPS (not Bluetooth enabled but having a jack for headphone). I plugged the GPS on this transmitter and was able to pair it with the communication system. Now I have a BT GPS and I can also listen to the built in MP3 player from the GPS. This works simultaneously on both helmet intercoms. The cost of this unit is way cheaper than replacing the GPS ($750 +).
Easy to set-up. Used as a transmitter from old style receiver to Bluetooth speaker. Sound clear, transmit distance reaches whole house (2 stories).
good
Facile d'utilisation. Fonctionne parfaitement bien.
