I was pretty excited when I saw these clip on grow lights. I bought 2 of them. So far they're just ok. They are quite flexible so that's a plus. The clamp/clip is fairly strong so no worries with it falling depending on where you clip it. I've got mine clamped to the shelves of my indoor mini greenhouse. As far as the lights go, I'm not 100% sure about them. At first I used the full spectrum selection and I think it started burning my tomato seedlings. I've since switched to the red lights at a lower intensity and the seedlings seem fine. One of the LED strips in one of the lamps has disconnected and is flipped around so the light is facing the wrong way now. I think it happened when I tried placing the lamp arms in a different position. I'm guessing you have to be fairly careful when moving the arms around. I've got these lights and several others types plugged into a power bar that's on a timer. For some reason these clip lights never come on in the morning with the rest of my other lights. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the built in timer on the switch itself? Final thoughts, I think my other well known brand of grow lights, that are more expensive, are more effective than these ones.

If it gets unplugged or loses power then you need to manually set it again every time that happens. I do like the gooseneck style, very flexible!

It CANNOT be remotely turn on (from a WIFI plug) you have to push the on button
