the base is plastic that does not fit properly to the metal part, seems like it will eventually break, and it is very unpractical, and also, there is not enough space for the cabe in the base, poorly designed

great concept poor execution. who ever designed this clearly did not test this with a North American model as the wire i assume is thicker and has an awkward brick that has nowhere to go in this design. this unit would benefit greatly if the wire well had a cut out to allow the wire to flow underneath the stand. also if there was a lip to hold the wire from popping out when coiled is place. it also needs to be a tad taller because the wire doesn't want to flex so much when it placed in the stand that the whole hair dryer can't sit flat
