the magnets work fine for me. You'll want to read other people's reviews regarding the magnet. I purchased 2 and they're both fine. 1 is attached to my desk leg, the other one is behind my table. Easy to slide out and shove more cables inside. 5/5 from me

Super handy cable management channels. Quality steel, nice paint, and comes with magnetic strips that you have to stick on. They hold the channel onto the desk leg with no problem. I like to have cables tucked away as much as possible, and this is a nice touch.

Magnet adhesive isn't strong enough

The idea and price is great, but the adhesive on the magnets do not hold onto the metal.
