I use it as a desk lamp mostly. The strong clip also allows it to be attached anywhere you like it to be :)

it's larger than the picture suggests, it will cover 1/3 of your phone and go over the cameras, so you need to clip it on the side of your phone and be okay with losing some screen... it's good for the ebay app since ebay does not let you use flash, but it's not going to do much unless you're in a dark room and taking pictures up close and can't use cell phone light
