    Works perfectly. I have a monitor that I use for 2 computers. It has HDMI and DisplayPort. I just plug this cable in and it auto detects the display port and I'm able to have the extra screen with my laptop.

          I used this to connect my MacBook to an old Dell monitor which only allows DisplayPort, VGA and DVI. It works like a charm. Good buy.
