The camera works for basic needs, here are some items that you should consider if purchasing: - The app is very poor and rarely updated (Some of used the Homemate app which is marginally better) - You cannot turn off night vision. This matters if you are trying to place the camera to look out a window as the night vision light will reflect back and kill the image - You cannot have continuous recording on the SD card - It does not support RTSP in case that is something that you need - The cloud service is crazy expensive and is payable PER CAMERA (this blows my mind) Not saying that you should not buy this camera, just make sure that it meets your needs.
