I have two. Will work with a MID2012 Generation MacBook Pro, but it's truly designed for the MacBook Air and won't work with Microsoft style 'labtops'- got it science geeks. This is perfect for heavy library books to not strain your neck - believe me I needed this studying law and tried other alternatives; this is perfect. Couple it with a foot stool from this company and you'll see the value at a desk. Get some sleep.

Great sturdy tool at that price and worth because even if you don't believe me and find it inferior to market quality - even though not satisfied by it's excellent 1yr warranty - they have reimbursed me fully what I paid them and told me to keep the product rather than send it back due to my claim. Truly a bargain!
