Really sturdy construction and quality. I opted for a crank model since it's likely more durable compared to an electric one. I used a counter top from Ikea. It's really stable at any height and the crank is smooth and easy to operate. I have to say that we generally overestimate how often we'd use the stand function. Still, I'm glad to have the option and it's a great sturdy base for my desk.

Works, but I'd prefer if the two layers are better attached. One time, a casual knock immediately separated the 2 layers and I ended up having to throw away all my cotton pads.

The construction is sturdy, but the solder joints are poor in such a way that it will likely rust. Beware as well the height between your countertop and cabinets. The rack is too tall to fit in this space for my kitchen.
