Tried this with my cat6 cable and found that my nvr supplied mouse light was flickering and would eventually turn off. Decided to try the adapter at the source, so I used the adapter plugged from nvr to this product, connected to the mouse. Still didn’t work.

The cover plate will not be flush to the wall if you are using the 1 gang drywall mounting bracket model Cab-7013. The plate where the mounting screw goes through could be made shorter (1/8”) on the back which would fix this problem. I’ve cut that part shorter and was able to sit it flush to the wall.

BT5.0 IPX5 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - PrimeCables®

For the price this bluetooth speaker is worth it. However, there are a few things I think everyone should know before buying this product: I purchased two (one for the bathroom, and another for the kitchen). The advantages are: i) The BT device can reach over 10ft - 15 ft. ii) The BT device pairs relatively fast (~1.5 seconds) The disadvantage is: i) Due to the identical name when scanning for BT devices, I don't know which one to select. You cannot change the BT device name ii) The bluetooth speaker will always stay on trying to pair (until it runs out of battery). This means you must always turn off the BT speaker after disconnecting, or else it will be out of battery when you want to use it. iii) The instructions are not terribly clear. I occasionally press the Vol +- button and it skips the track when I really wanted to increase the volume. It takes getting used to. Noticeable issues: When I received the two BT devices, one of them had a loose battery inside. When I shook the device, the battery would rattle. The other BT device was pretty solid. Overall: I can't complain, its decently built. If these items were addressed then I would give it two more stars.
