Over the years, I've found Tintex to be like most other things. . . . not as good as it used to be. The last few times I've attempted to dye fabric black, it's taken many, many packages of Tintex to try to get the desired color and the best it's come out is a soft gray. Two packages of another brand did the trick. Three stars given as other Tintex colors may be better.

Bought this on sale at a good price, and I believe this was a worthwhile purchase at this price. It takes some time to straighten out so I wouldn't recommend pulling it out of the box just before you plan to use it, and setting it up is much easier with two people! It's certainly much easier to use than the old, bulky, and much smaller metal projector screen we were using!
