Received the desk today and my first impression is not very good. I don't know if the problem is with the carrier or if it's the packaging, but the box I received was falling apart, pieces of the desk were literally falling out of the box. I haven't assemble it yet, will do it this week-end but I can clearly see scratches on those metal pieces and they are possibly bent.

As mentioned by someone else, a few sharp edges & chipped finish in several spots. I guess it's to be expected for the price. All other similar alternatives I found where much more expensive. I needed this for work to put on my office door to avoid using the common employee closet and in the end it does the job even if it's not the best looking hanging hook.
