Shredder does not handle staples well. Entangled staple will cause a paper jam and it's happened more than a few times so far. Trying to get the staple out isn't easy. If you are shredding paper that isn't stapled, you get clean, sharp strips cut. Only other drawback is that you need a receptacle for the paper that has a good height because it is strips and not cross-cut.

Very good batteries for the price. I'm still on my first box from a couple of years ago. Only need to change batteries in computer mouse once a year. Have yet to change the batteries in the motion sensors. TV remote batteries have lasted a long time as well. (Can't remember when I put them in.)
