The 45-degree plug that is quite small allows TWO of these to be plugged into an single outlet. This is perfect in my living room where the lower plug is switched and has lamps while the upper plugs has all sorts of always on gear.

The mount is robust with excellent mounting hardware. we had a particle board desk and it was not as robust as the tray. We required a desk upgrade to use it but the mount is not cheesy plastic. very well built.
