the length of the chord is short but besides that, I was able to duct tape this onto a corner of my table and it works perfectly as a usb hub for my headphones, video camera, external drives. Haven't experienced a loss of quality or any lag for my purposes.

I can't use this for my standing desk, it is impossible to install. The middle bar for my standing desk interferes with the installation. I guess I just wasted a lot of money on this for nothing. :(
