Works nicely with a Mac Mini M2 and my 12 year old Samsung HDMI TV. For consistent, quick recognition I find it best to sleep computer and then turn off TV. Later, turn on TV, then wake computer.

Works well on one computer, so I bought another for my new Mac Mini M2. Tests well with a few years old 8TB WD Easy Store external USB 3 drive. Drive sleep is no problem. Power switches for each device are a must have.
