The Kettle works well and taste is good after following the instructions. The base won't sit correctly because the cord is larger than the cut out in the base. There is no bracket to hold down the cord either (see pics).

I tried only the top two ports because I'm afraid of a defective port frying something. The two with power supply worked great! A very small tablet was able to read an external hard drive as well as run a wireless mouse and keyboard.
