It's a solid, thick layer of powder coating. I don't know if it's due to variances in my setup but it wouldn't fit in a 1U space I had reserved. Quality-wise though, it's a solid piece of steel. Very nice.

Sturdy-feeling, thick cable. They don't bend terribly easy and the contacts are well-isolated with heat shrink. The tip of one broke off somehow but I think it may have been my fault. I'd buy it again.

Can be put together in 20 minutes and was better quality than expected. The leather doesn't get hot or stick to you. The arms have minor quality issues but are far from a problem. Keep in mind you can't adjust the height of the arms or angle of the backrest or seat. I kinda wish the chair went a little lower. I'm 6ft tall and my legs aren't parallel to the floor at the lowest setting.
