It's plastic filled with plaster or some other weight. I couldn't understand from the image or description what it actually was. The actual unit doesn't have as much metallic airbrushing on it so it looks more plasticy. Still, it's more aesthetic than the bulkier units that get filled with water. Since the umbrella will be used only in a table and never standalone, this works well.

A bit noisier than expected but not too surprising considering it's an ice maker. Ice shape is good. Lots of surface area. The two included scoops are cute. I wedged a neodymium magnet in the scoop's handle hole so i can stick it to the side. It's quite perfect. Speed of ice is surprisingly fast, which is actually the most important part. Will be great for bringing up to cottages with no A/C

Sound quality - 4/5 Very good but not high end. Perfect for talk, acceptable for music Form factor - 5/5 I like this shape a lot. It fits deeply in my ear and fills the canal. Instead of noise cancelling, it achieves noise isolation. Which is also good. The shape compensates for the sound quality, Microphone 2/5 Useable for phone calls but barely. Other side say that I sound very distant Functionality 4/5 The capacitive touch buttons are good in their response. I simply prefer physical clicks like with Jabra. Battery meter is convenient The fact that each headphone can be connected to a different device is really neat, though I'm not sure how I'd use it Battery pack to charge external device is also really neat. I think that's more of an emergency thing for when I'm travelling and need to power my phone. Or maybe if I'm ready to work out but my phone is dead. We'll see how it gets used but I like being prepared. Overall Very good headphones. Great value when on sale.

Came with a oily residue. I was going to give this a sterilizing wash anyways so that didn't matter. Works as advertised so far. Hopefully the toothpaste is sufficient for a 1 week vacation. I don't generally micro-track my consumption.
