I like these pastels. Very creamy and so far after 5 months test in south window, lightfast. Have only done rough sketches with them so don't know how they will blend with my other soft pastels types.

I like the hamper, but my poor rating reflects the quality in terms of assembly. First, the 8 predrilled holes for the frame were too small and the screws were very difficult if not impossible to drive in. On my third screw, the screw sheared off in the wood. This was a predicament. I had to re-drill all the holes with a larger bit, and try to drill out the one with the embedded screw shaft - which was sketchy because I didn't have a carbon tungsten drillbit, and then scrounge around the shop for a right size screw. Then, when I was threading the dowels into the casings on the cloth bags, one of the casings was too small for the dowel. I had to unpick the sewing and re-sew it to fit. Thirdly, once assembled, one of the drawers is very stiff to pull out. I will need to sand it down. Fourthly, the dowels are not parallel with the top, giving the whole thing a somewhat rakish look. I should give it one star, but otherwise it's fine and certainly a tidy way of managing laundry.
