The phone holder for this is excellent and holds very well. The mount to the vent was not well made. It does not hold strongly and the whole mount will fall off if your car hits a bump hard enough. The lack of horizontal supports on the back also make the holder extremely wobbly even if it doesn't fall off. I had a previous mount with horizontal side supports that make it extremely stable and would solve all these problems. If the mount is redesigned, I would buy the product immediately.

The phone holder itself was great. It hold the phone securely and is easy to release and stays locked properly. My biggest issue is that the clamp for the air vent is not very sturdy. The clamp only holds onto one bar and is unstable and wobbly. After using it for one day, it has fallen once already. I had purchased this to replace another phone holder than had a bad phone holder but more secure vent grip. The vent grip was held on the vent and had an additional bottom piece to support the bottom weight of the phone making it much sturdier. If there was additional supports added to the bottom of the phone holder, I would gladly change my rating and purchase again.
