Is this really a Monoprice part? I bought because I trust the Monoprice brand, but I've never owned nor encountered a cheaper coupler than this. Despite putting brand new RJ45s on my cable runs, I've had to tape both ends into the coupler just to get it function. Neither end securely retains the cable without tape. I am replacing this immediately.

I'm getting a diagonal streaking pattern with this tape. The device prints using a heat process and none of my other tapes are giving me that problem, so clearly it's an issue with this tape batch itself. I'll be reaching out to support to hopefully receive a replacement.

Amazing device that has saved us tons of money while giving us a better end result too. At $300 for 100 custom asset tags, I needed to find a more reasonable solution. For the cost of 1 matte silver tape, I can print 100 custom labels with my logo, names, barcodes, serial numbers, product details, and all the information I need. Simply amazing.

Does what you'd expect it to. No plastic anywhere, and it's nice and solid. You should never experience damage or wear and tear from normal use... And I can imagine a few heavy duty scenarios this wouldn't shy away from.
