Very hard plastic. Not easy to push the RJ45 plug to relieve the strain and protect the cable. Somehow I am very much dissatisfied using these. I've ordered a pack of '50' and may not use all of them.

I've used this myself for the first time and worried if I might end up loosing one plug because of my inexperience to patch cables. It took sometime to crimp the first plug as I had some hard time to push all 8 cables through the little one which came along with the plug. Later, it became easy to crimp the plug. I have patch few cables with ease.
