Received the unit. Connector is highly plastic/not enough rubber, not flexible enough to connect, with a very small entrance connection for the faucet. Would have paid a dollar more for greater flexibility and cup material at the mouth.

Had this unit for a few weeks and it does read well with everyday batteries. Only deficiency, would be if the foot to engage the battery was spring loaded, therefore need 2 hands. Otherwise, great product.

This is actually a reasonable value. Foam plates are not eco-friendly, and these offer a good substitute. I use it with a wicker type plate as support. Quick rinse.
