I bought two but had a severe installation problem with the first one and living.ca sent me a replacement. The second one was smoothly installed and looks beautiful. I will be installing this replacement. I will even go back and glue-fix the damaged one! That’s how lovely these are. Thanks living.ca

I swapped the filter for a non-pressurized one and removed the plastic and silicon flap from inside the portafilter. This makes it less automatic and pressurized.

Nails like sawdust. Aside from the holes being either not wide enough or barely drilled, the naill broken. Its insides are powdery. Cannot get it out...tried strong magnets, etc. Even tried carving a hole around it. And to think i bought two of these laundry hampers. One hamper is damaged and I have no desire to bother with the second one. I have wasted as much time as I would have spent building one myself.

Could use a bit more power. Takes several tries to fine ground coffee! Far less noisy than my 3horsepower blender so keeping it for daily coffee grinding.

Creates creama even with poor beans. However, there is overflow from the spout filter and it is a little frustrating getting the right grounds level (even though I placed ground below max every time). The crema is smooth and creamy but the espress coffee itself tastes a tad watery even at half fill. Would have appreciated some hints on how far to let coffee run. 25secs??? 15secs??? Still testing out the right fit as I feel this machine is for keeps. Hope it lasts 5 years at least. Very good looking machine and you know the pressure is 15bar hence the creama.
