Easy to use they are sized just big enough for a good margin around a 8½" X 11" piece of paper, in fact I've still trimmed a bit off and still had a plastic margin around the document.

Works great, surprised how easy it is to use. As other have said the "ready" light, that shows when the unit is "ready" to laminate, just glows red, it's not bright. Once you take note of what it looks like when not ready verses when ready, no confusion.
