Again inks are great. I am not sure the grey has improved output quality though. It simply causes me to have to buy the extra ink. The XL tanks including this extra grey do not seem to last any longer with similar usage pattern before I having to purchase again, sometimes from the bricks and mortar store if I don’t have a moustache brand backup on hand. The XL tanks used to last me almost a whole year. Problem may be having to print nozzle test when tank Is empty but indicator says full..

Inks are great. The only suggestion is for company to have a look at how the chip is working to signal the printer that ink is running out. The cyan in particular drained very quickly after about 7 weeks of light use, but did not trigger the printer indicator to show “getting low.” The printer’s graphical indicator showed ink was still half full, and I did the deep clean and check nozzle print twice, each time getting worse. Then I checked the tank and it was empty. The sponge though was still saturated

This grey ink Cartridge had to be purchased for printer to work. I thought that grey would improve print quality or capability. I have seen no improvement or difference between a 6 cartridge and 5 cartridge printer with this grey tank added. It just seems like an added expense for nothing. But no complaints about the inks themselves in general, or the 123ink company. 13ink are quite responsive to problems.

The inks themselves work well when the printer itself cooperates. Not sure if the chip is disabling or not connecting with the printer ink level indicator that we’re showing “full” or near full when they were empty. The sponges were still full of ink. The printer gave an error code. Replaced inks and used up an entire set within a couple of weeks both with regular printing AND trying to get the printer to work by flushing ink through ink jets. Nozzle tests come out perfectly, so it did not seem to be the printer itself. Replaced the set again, and at the moment printing is working. The inks themselves perform well and worth buying if your printer is reliable.

Not part of the bundle required for pixma 7720, so you need to scroll around to find the grey tank. Good service overall for all orders thus far.

I purchased this for another user in the family. Because of the similarity in numbering the products he thought he was out of the large black ink tank. I mentioned that I thought I had just bought the large black tank, but he said the large was not there. In actual fact, he saw the number 250XLBK and thought that was the 251XLBK, both with similar colored boxes, and ended up at the store, paying more. Too bad. Otherwise, product and service are very good for us.

Very good service on this item. Original yellow was defective. We made it work temporarily, but then the problem started up again. Thus far the replacement has been trouble-free. As an aside, the printer itself is having difficulty printing straight lines (horizontal or vertical, depending on the orientation of the image to paper. Some people blame the use of generic ink cartridges. But this seemed to have started with the download of a government produced document (e.g. a tax form). I think the printer may get "confused" with certain files that come in. The maintenance program in the printer is supposed to help straighten out the problem, and I have tried using it before. It did not improve printout substantially. But then, one day, it fixed itself, almost as if the printer software "learned" how to print straight. Now the same problem has cropped up again.
