This is actually a second purchase because my first one failed shortly after the warranty period. It's cheap and gets the job done. Here's to hoping it doesn't fail again in a year or two.

Good for putting the laptop away to the side for use as a second monitor. Laptop intake/exhaust vents can be quite close to the construction; good thing it is made of metal so I don't have to worry about heat on plastic.
