HP original ink. Great for photo printers or those that print both text and photos on the same printer. Doesn’t much matter if only printing text but makes a difference with photos using high quality photo papers.

Although any ink will do if just printing text documents, I stick with OEM ink since I print both text documents and photos on my printer and want the highest quality, fade resistant ink for my photos. Never had an issue with HP ink drying up before the cartridge was empty and have used the same printer for 7 or 8 years with no issues. However, it is important to check the expiration date when buying ink to avoid any issues depending on how fast you use up your ink and all of the ink I have purchased so far from shopperplus is new, with a long expiration date so can buy ahead of time and not worry about getting an old cartridge or ink issues.

Since I use the printer for both text and photos, I have stayed with HP ink - HP ink is a bit more expensive than generic brands but has always held up well on photos.
