Tried to use it for the rear speakers on my Samsung soundbar, but it doesn't come with the right screws, even though it's a standard size. I'll have to swing by a hardware store or something. Also, the threading on the metal weight was already stripped. I managed to attach it by putting it upside down, but it isn't perfect.

Surprisingly, seems to work. My phone usually says "charging slowly" on USB. But with this, it blocked data and turned to "charging". We measured the current with a device, it seemed to be about 1.2 amps off my computer. However one of my colleagues got a Windows error saying the usb port is malfunctioning and drawing too much power, after some time. Windows shut down the port and he had to reboot to restart it.

Works well, but suction cups don't stick very well to windows. I'm not sure where the towers are but I'm in Montreal, so they're probably not that far. I ended up getting quite a few channels even though my building is weirdly U shaped and thus only open on one side.
