Ignore the bad reviews. If you don't follow the instructions it will leak all over the place. If you follow the instructions you will end up with an excellent coffee as good as produced by machines coting three times the price. So why have some purchasers had problems? Most coffee maker work in a continuous way, from foaming milk to pouring coffee. This machine works in two phases. First you press the top button only and when the green light comes on you can make the coffee. Now to foam the milk press the lower button, wait for the green light and then turn the dial to the left. Simple, until you come back for second helpings! If you have left both buttons pressed and go to make more coffee, it will pour out everywhere, because the pressure is too high. You can try blowing off steam through the foamer, but this is only partially successful. The point to remember, is that once you have finished making your first round of coffees you must turn off both buttons to allow the machine to cool down. Once you have mastered this, you will absolutely love this machine.
