Canon PGI-1200BK 9219B001 réservoir encre originale noire

This is the last time I will buy original Canon and the second time I have reviewed. This last black cartridge got only 111 copies and they advertise 400. It would not be so bad but they charge more than double for original Canon's.

Canon are lying about the number of copies a person can get from this cartridge. They claim 1200 pages based on 5% coverage which is not logical and would mean that there is virtually no ink on the printed page. I have bought this product many times and the most I have gotten is 500 pages, a normal average is about 400 pages per xl cartridge. I print normal things but mostly crosswords daily. These copier manufactures need to be sued for false advertising.

The quality of this toner is good but the manufacturers need to be chastised for misleading advertising. This company (and all the other printer companies) states that this cartridge is good for 6000 copies at 5% coverage which is very, very misleading as that is only a couple of lines of type on a page. I got only 3967 pages pages before replacing it and it was printing primarily crosswords. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE ADVERTISED NUMBER OF PAGES THAT CAN BE PRINTED.

I am not sure if it is the cartridge or the Canon printer but their claim of printing 1200 pages is either criminal or at least outright lying. I have used this cartridge three times now and the last total before having to replace was 289 copies, a far cry from the 1500 they claim they claim and this is nothing that has massive type.

The average number of copies per cartridge that Canon stated is an absolute joke and they should be taken to court for false advertising. They state 300 pages and I got the message to replace at only 50 copies and that is not printing anything unusual like photos, it was mostly black printed crosswords. The quality is good but not worth the inflated price.

The quality is acceptable but their claim of 400 pages is so far out it is laughable. I got only 126 copies on the last cartridge and about the same on the one before. And....that is printing mostly crosswords which are not that heavily inked.

A couple of weeks after installing compatible Moustache cartridges my Canon started printing terrible coloured copies and has destroyed my print head according to Canon. I may b e forced to buy another printer which does not please me. Stay AWAY for these compatibles.

Ever since I installed supposedly compatible inkers I have had nothing but trouble poor quality, my Canon printer is constantly recalibrating and some pictures were all 1 colour.

This cartridge hi jacked the printer and all pictures were printed in Cyan colour for awhile. After lengthy cleaning I did get the printer to work but will never install Moustache inkers again.

Although I do like the Canon printer I am very upset that Canon chooses to not tell the truth about the number of copies this cartridge will print under normal usage. They state that 1500 copies is possible and I only got 643 before the printer stated I had to change cartridge. I do not print documents with a lot of data and I don't print any pictures so Canon greatly overstates and is telling a lie.
