Much better than the black plastic wheels that come with most office chairs. The glide smoothly and quietly. Sometimes they can glide too easily; if the floor of your office is a little uneven you might want to spring the extra five bucks for the set with brakes.

If you have a particularly echoey room, this can help knock out some of that problem. It is a little heavy, so make sure you are mounting this on a sturdy mic stand. Won’t give you the quality of a treated room, but can make a slight improvement for a minimal investment.

The price is right, but I find the light often flickers when adjusting the brightness. The warmth doesn’t really change either, just brightness. Altogether worth the price, as the light ring functions well enough and the packaged tripod and Bluetooth remote are useful.

Sound fine, but I bought another cable of a different length that creates a terrible buzzing sound and distorts the absolute hell out of my microphone, so I guess it’s just a roll of the dice.

It’s a fine mic arm for the price. I should have paid closer attention to the length before purchase as it’s a little shorter than I’d like. It also struggles a bit with heavier mics. I’ve got a Shure SM7B mounted on it currently and it slowly droops during recording. Where the mount meets the base of the arm is a little flimsy as well.

Definitely worth the price! Bought these as a backup pair to keep at my job in radio. Sound quality is nothing to write home about, but better than you’d expect for the price point. The band is a little small and I worry that my big head will break it sooner or later and the cable that comes with them could stand to be longer, but altogether a worthwhile purchase for sure!
