Unfortunately my printer did not recognize the new toner and it had to be returned. Hopefully the chip problem will be solved shortly as I'm waiting to order another toner. I never had any problems with my previous Brother printers toner, only this MFC-L2740DW.

Had no trouble installing the toner and it works fine. Unless I'm mistaken I printed 3555 sheets with the previous toner. I'm lining up to buy a new drum as the current one is down to 8%. Thank you for your services. Yours truly Paul Jones
