I have both these installed on the backyard where there is not much foot traffic... if you are installing on a uneven surface ,it would be challenging.. have some spacer so it work install easier. I only tested the day I installed it and it worked with sensor. I wish I could also somehow set how long the lights stays on!

my son plays with it okay, feel like it's a bit tiny for him (6 year old).. no instructions included how to use the microscope. you just have to figure out.. feel like only sturdy part is the base and eye piece it kind of cheap plastic.
