I bought this as a gift for my wife.... I just started to use it and would take several sharpening sessions to really see how it performs. The main reason I bought this is I now feel much safer my wife is not using the stone for sharpening... The only draw back is ... now I have to do the sharpening for her as she claims she is not used to new technology !

Very clear and excellent pickup without distortions on the side compared to the last one I brought at even more cost. I like the light ring feature but sometime it could be a distraction during zoom. Overall I am happy with the quality performance at a reasonable price.
