I had 2 of the old model, but one stopped working after 9 months (motor stopped engaging), so when that was refunded under warranty, I got this one instead. It looks like the last model, but the internals and keypad have changed (improved). Installation instructions are good, but programming instructions are only on this product website, so download them now. I hope this one works for a long time, because I like it.

Thin compared to other similar blankets, but it is quite large. It is thin enough that I thought it was only half it's size, but didn't realize I didn't completely unfold it. Soft and doesn't seem to shed much at all.

Pros: Works well. Table and seat height and distance from user are easily adjustable. Smooth and quiet peddling operation. Pretty stable and easily movable, unless you have to lift it (it is pretty heavy, probably 70-90 pounds). Cons: Lowest seat setting may be a bit high for someone shorter than 5 feet. Table wobbles a bit when peddling. Seat is not very comfortable. Fairly loud beep when starting peddling or when flipping through the display choices.

Required bending the clips to fit in my 4" fixture. Will not sit flush against the ceiling. Light takes a second or two to get to full brightness. I bought one to test, and will not get more. The clip system makes it difficult to remove once installed.
