I'm taking a chance at rating this product very high as I haven't had a chance to actually put them to use. As a result, my expectations for alkaline batteries is high, and would expect that their performance would be competitive with existing products.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND PERFORMS AS PER THE CREDENTIALS. THIS IS ACTUALLY THE 3RD UNIT THAT I HAVE PURCHASED AND INSTALLED TO SUPPORT MY COMPLICATED SET UP OF TV'S, PVR'S, DVD RECORDERS AND DVD PLAYERS. THEY WERE ALL VERY EASY TO SET UP, AND WOUD SUGGEST THAT IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS UNIT IN YOUR CONFIGURATION OF ELECTRONICS, PURCHASE A COUPLE OF VERY SHORT CABLES SO THAT YOU END UP WITH A VERY NEAT SET-UP. DELIVERY WAS PROMPT AN THE UNIT ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION.
